I was a bit behind tasting the sweet wines from Malaga, so I tasted three vintages of the flagship wine, the oldest of which, the 2013 Molino Real, is from a very late harvest, and the wine was a lot more open and evolved, with an expressive nose with the classical aromas of bay leaf and condensed milk. Late harvests tend to deliver less concentrated sweet wines that evolve faster. 6,100 half-liter bottles were filled some two years after the harvest. This is a more approachable Molino Real.
