Well, an unusual but comely array of aromas here – it’s at once floral and deeply dark fruited. Curious, on the verge of captivating. It’s medium bodied and glides easily across the palate, juicy fruited, dark fruited, but given a spicy, crackling lift of freshness from peppery, almost graphite mineral-like viognier influence. Races through the mouth, finishing with white fruits and floral things happening. It’s certainly beating its own drum, an unusual combination of flavour and textures but I like it all. It evolves a bit in the glass too, though I dare say it’s a younger drinking proposition as age may undo it’s tense mesh. Go on! 91 Points, Drink 2012-2017
