The 2014 Chateauneuf du Pape (41% Grenache, 28% Mourvèdre, 27% Syrah and the rest Cinsault) was raised in foudre, old barrels and small part in new oak. It has bright acidity, medium-bodied richness and moderate concentration to go with lots of black cherries, wild herbs, leather and hints of flowers on the nose. Overall, this is a classy, elegant wine from the estate that will keep for 8-10 years.
