The 2022 Pinot Noir has more throttle and thrust than the 2021 tastes beside it; all things are amped up here—acid, fruit weight, length. It's good! It still retains that lovely delicacy that the Castle Rock Pinots do so well, but it does it with a little oomph. Nicely done. I like it. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

The 2021 Pinot Noir is lacy, fine and floral on the nose, with white strawberry, cherry, jasmine flowers and crushed rocks. The wine is shaped by fine strings of phenolics that stream across the palate through to the finish. This is red-fruited, fresh and delicate. The acid errs on the side of Pink Lady apple, crunchy and sweet. Really good. They age nicely, these Pinots. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
