A barrel-fermented blend of Grenache (50%), Bourboulenc (25%) and Clairette (25%) from the sandy soils of Pignan (Nord), the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc offers up pretty tangerine notes on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, it's silky textured, elegant and just plain delicious; I just wish it had a bit more complexity.
