The 1997 Dolcetto d'Alba Lorenzino possesses a saturated dark ruby/purple color, and a big, roasted nut, chocolate, and black cherry/berry-scented nose. Those aromas follow through in the lovely, expansive, succulent palate. Pure and fruity, this is a crowd-pleaser. A gorgeous example of what appears to be a fabulous vintage, this wine is loaded.
