Dolcetto offers roundness and plumpness with lots of black cherry and blackberry. This expression is a little offbeat in terms of the bouquet, with a splash of natural rubber. The wine is mid-weight in density, but the power of its structure and the intensity of the fruit are pushed up a notch, probably due to the hot growing season.
