The 2021 Pinot Noir B.A. Thieriot Vineyard is very expressive this vintage and a window into the detail and precision the best wines from this vineyard can offer. Pale ruby, it unwinds slowly to complex aromas of red cherries, raspberry, pomegranate, juniper, tobacco and resinous herbs. The palate is equally complex, with layer after layer of spicy red fruit. It has a very finely chalky frame, mouthwatering acidity that drives you to take another sip and a hauntingly long finish. Just 195 cases were made.

The 2019 Pinot Noir B.A. Thieriot Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1991 and 1994 on Goldridge loam at 1,000 feet in elevation. It has a medium ruby color and flinty tones that unfurl to cranberries, rhubarb, blood orange, iron, mushrooms and decaying leaves. Medium-bodied, silky and seamless, it has an intense core of iron-laced fruit and a long, earthy finish. Offer it another 3-5 years in bottle. 114 cases were made.

Medium ruby-purple, the 2018 Pinot Noir B.A. Thieriot Vineyard opens with very classic aromas of tree bark, licorice, cracked pepper, underbrush, potpourri and dried violets with a core of pure blood orange, cranberry and redcurrant fruit. The palate is powerfully flavored, layered and spicy with bursts of freshness and a gently grainy texture, finishing long and earthy. This is immediately enjoyable but will age well in the cellar.

Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir B.A. Thieriot Vineyard has a seriously peppery nose with baking spice layers and notes of kirsch, black raspberries and forest floor. Light to medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with pepper and spice flavors, with a chewy backbone and long finish. 233 cases were made.
