Backward and concentrated is the 1999 Pinot Noir Thieriot Vineyard. This wine boasts a dark ruby color as well as scents of root beer, cola, vegetable roots, black fruits, smoke, and mineral. Exhibiting a firm underpinning of tannin, outstanding concentration and overall equilibrium, as well as a spicy finish, this aggressive/animal-styled Pinot should drink well for 7-8 years. Virtually all of Littorai's wines, save those sold at restaurants, are purchased via a mailing list.
