The 2017 John Martin Chardonnay was fermented and aged in 500-liter puncheons, 20% of which were new. The result is the scent of lightly toasted cashews and hints of honey framing peach and pineapple fruit. All of this medium to full-bodied wine went through malolactic fermentation, giving it a creamy mid-palate while at the same time retaining a crisp, refreshing finish.
