The 2021 Berncasteler Doctor Riesling Sp?tlese opens with a fascinating, pure, intense and flinty bouquet with very elegant nectarine and white peach aromas intermingled with notes of crushed rocks and herbs. Very complex. Bottled with a moderate 60 grams per liter of residual sugar, this is a crystal clear, fresh, very long and salty Doctor Sp?tlese that will divide the freaks from the Grauburgunder drinkers. The acidity is razor-sharp and will certainly not be everyone's cup of tea, but it leads to an electrifying finish with concentrated lime and lemon aromas. In 15, 20 and still in 40 years, Riesling lovers will praise this Doctor that will definitely gain charm over the years in the bottle. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. The 2019 Berncasteler Doctor Riesling Sp?tlese is very clear, refined and flinty on the complex nose. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a finely grippy and lingeringly salty Sp?tlese with concentrated fruit and a stimulating finish. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.

A well-delineated, floral style, with jasmine and bergamot aromas and notes of lychee and persimmon. Elegant and silky, yet packed with flavor, featuring vivid acidity flowing through and linking the elements. Shows great length and harmony.
