The 1995 has turned out well, displaying a dark ruby/purple color, and aromas of minerals, black currants, and smoky new oak. In the mouth, it is a medium-weight, backward, well-delineated Pauillac with plenty of tannin, and a true vin de garde style. Anticipated maturity: 2002-2015.
This estate has been fashioning better wines over recent years ... consumers take note.
