The 2011 Salmos is a well-crafted, tasty blend of Carinena, Garnacha Tinta and Syrah aged for 14-16 months in French oak barrels. The fruit is fresh, more red cherries and strawberries, with hints of cinnamon and vanilla from the oak and a tasty, medium-bodied palate with very good acidity, clean and delineated. Very drinkable. Drink now-2017.
Torres started in Priorat in 2005 with one red, then launched a second one, and this year the news is that they have produced a sweet wine for the first time, that is about to come to the market.
