Following the Torres style, the 2012 Salmos is a nicely-crafted, safe blend of Cari?ena, Garnacha and Syrah from Priorat with the classical aromas of shoe polish, graphite and ripe black fruit with a generous dose of oak-related aromas, spices, smoke and something balsamic. The palate is very balanced, with fine, polished tannins and very correct acidity.

A shell of firm tannins hides a tender core of black cherry, cocoa and espresso flavors in this red. The tannins are balanced by lively acidity, which keeps the wine fresh, but the finish is a bit grippy. Drink now through 2020. 1,000 cases imported.??–TM??Region: Spain / Priorat Select to Add
