The polished Torres style is quite noticeable in the entry level red from Priorat, the 2013 Salmos. It is a well-crafted, tasty blend of Cari?ena, Garnacha Tinta and Syrah from the villages of El LLoar and Porrera, from vines planted in 1996. It matured on French oak barrels for 14 months. It has good freshness and nicely integrated oak, and the cooler vintage provided for good freshness and acidity. A very drinkable Priorat.
