Well, this is your basic inky dark, tannic Pet wine, from a producer with a long track record. It’s a wine meant to be stuck away in a cool cellar for a decade or longer, and there’s no reason not to, given the astringency and the fabulously molten core of blackberry and cherry fruit. Should begin to be approachable after 2008; hold for years after. ——S.H.(12/15/2005)—— 90
