Displaying layers of deeply flavored fruit along with great length and concentration, the estate’s 2004 Rosso di Montalcino is a rich, heady wine to drink over the next few years. It shows just how good a Rosso from a serious producer can be in a top vintage. Made from the estate’s younger vines, the wine is aged for two years in tonneaux. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2009.
