The entry-level 2009 Pinot Noir Premier Cuvee is a blend of all five of the estate vineyards. It sports a pleasing perfume of red and black fruits, cedar, spice box, and rose petal. Savory and smooth-textured on the palate, it is a flavorful offering that displays a sense of elegance. Drink it over the next 6-7 years. Veteran winemaker Anna Matzinger appears to have maximized what nature provided in the warm 2009 vintage.
