The 2010 Barolo is a soft and expressive Nebbiolo that offers a large swathe of aromatics. The wine starts off with dried berry and cherry aromas that segue to spice, tar, licorice and campfire smoke. The wine's consistency is dense and rich. Subtle tones of coffee and toasted almond round off the finish.

Loaded with licorice and tar notes, this red is both sweet and savory. Plum and cherry fruit holds the center, with tobacco and leather accents adding more detail.
