Tanca Farra is the name of the soil; the grapes are Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) and the Sardinian workhorse, Cannonau (50%). They work well together in this wine, which opens nicely to reveal black-fruit notes. The palate experience is ripe tannins, adequate acidity and a good mouthfeel.
