This is a full-bodied, baritone wine made with certified organic fruit. The Máté 2019 Syrah Banditone reveals an inky black appearance with black fruit aromas and dried blackberry. The wine shows a heavy-duty 15% alcohol content that is a lot to take in. Luckily, much of that heat is absorbed by the thicker volume and concentration that you get with Syrah from sunny Tuscany (that sees 18 months of aging in barrique). The finish is soft and supported, with oak-driven oak spice and toast, but not especially persistent. Only 479 bottles exist.
