The 2011 Barolo Bricco Rocche is a renewed interpretation of an old classic. With fruit from the estate's historic property in Castiglione Falletto (that was planted in 1978), the wine shows youthful aromas of dark fruit, dried cherry, blackberry and spice. You already get a sense of the budding tertiary aromas that should evolve towards spice, truffle and licorice. Barolo Bricco Rocche is balanced and ripe. It's ready to be put down in the cellar for five years or more.

Tightly wound and sinewy, this red offers a mix of cherry, strawberry, licorice, oak spice and mineral flavors. Stays fresh and long, gaining harmony and suppleness with air.
