You immediately notice the tension and energy in this wine. It is buzzing with youthful character but it also has the solid tannic structure and the balanced acidity to carry it forward over the years. The Castiglione Falletto township, where the Bricco Rocche vineyard is located, has performed beautifully across the board in this classic vintage.

A spicy expression introduces this intense, tight red, with cherry and currant fruit augmented by white pepper, mineral, tobacco and tar flavors.
