The 2011 Braide Alte (Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Picolit and Moscato Giallo) shows elaborate oak tones with toasted almond, dried apricot, subtle tones of mineral and white flower potpourri. This is an impressive and generous white wine with the structure, acidity and alcohol (14%) to pair with cod baked in a crust of sea salt. The wine should hold its own for three years or more.
