The Meursault Sous La Velle is a first rate village wine, better than some highly touted premier crus. Exhibiting a hazelnut-scented nose, it exhibits an oily texture, excellent balance and thick, fat, concentrated fruit interspersed with buttery tones. Drink it between now-2001.
