Tasted blind, the 2015 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly showed especially well, displaying a classy but reserved bouquet of citrus oil, nutty new oak and subtle reduction. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with bright acids, good concentration and a taut, grippy finish. While Colin's Chassagne Caillerets and Montrachet were rich and outgoing, this En Remilly was more classical in profile and represents an especially attractive proposition in the 2015 vintage.
