A blend of Nero di Troia and Morellone, the 2010 Rosso Canosa Cefalicchio Rosso offers outstanding value. It delivers little in terms of extra clothing or embellishments, but makes a nice impression nonetheless, despite its inherent nakedness. Fresh fruit notes of cherry and raspberry are followed by dusty tones of crushed rock or powdered granite.
