Never previously reviewed by this publication, the Tua Rita 1995 Redigaffi reveals extra fruit weight and concentration off the bat. This vintage is remembered for a rainy spring period followed by a sunny and warm summer season without excessively hot temperatures. The wine's richness is enhanced by dark tones of dried fruit and herbs, with hints of oregano and thyme. The wine's freshness is good; however, the acidity here feels slightly muted compared to some of the other older vintages in this retrospective. In all, I would say this wine is holding up very nicely considering its age.
