The red wines begin with the 2003 Ebenezer Shiraz. It was aged in an equal mix of French and American oak, 27% new. Purple-colored, it offers an attractive perfume of cedar, spice box, pepper and blueberry. Supple-textured with a sense of elegance, it has ample ripe blue and black fruit flavors, light tannin, and good balance. It will evolve for several years and drink well through 2013.
