A deeper gold color, the 2006 Condrieu les Chailles de L'Enfer offers a honeyed, mineral style, with ripe notes of caramelized apricots, toasted bread, spice-cabinet and powdered rocks. Full-bodied, rich and layered on the palate, with juicy acidity, it's fully mature and time to drink up, but offers plenty to love. It would pair perfectly with a heartier dish, or even a fruit tart dessert.
