Just beginning to lose its fruit and freshness, this has always been one of my favorite vintages of Sigalas Rabaud. The antithesis of a powerhouse, oaky, viscous Sauternes, the 1967 is moderately sweet and has a honeyed bouquet of pineapples. Medium bodied and concentrated, but surprisingly light, this is a textbook example of Sigalas Rabaud that requires consumption. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 3/87.
