The deep saturated ruby-colored 1999 Cote Rotie offers up sweet aromas of plums, cassis, and flowers. The wine is succulent, ripe, and heady, with plenty of fat and a seductive, low acid, rich style. It should drink well now and over the next 12-14 years. One of the newest stars of Cote Rotie, the 1999s from the Bonnefonds are the finest efforts I have tasted from this small domaine.Importer: A Christopher Cannan Selection, various American importers including Michael Skurnik, Syosset, NY; tel.
