The Chassagne-Montrachet is produced from a vineyard located just below Batard-Montrachet. It displays sweet malt ball aromatics as well as a lively, medium-bodied, and thick character. Powerful mineral, toasty oak and white peach flavors are found in this well-balanced, and focused wine. Anticipated maturity: 1999-2003.
