Produced entirely from the Encegnieres vineyard, the 2001 Chassagne-Montrachet reveals mouth-watering aromas of marzipan wash in spices. Lush, satin-textured, and light to medium-bodied, this broad wine’s personality is marred by a hint of grapefruit pith-like bitterness in the finish. It should be drunk over the next 2-3 years.
