The 2014 Barolo Cannubi holds its own; it's bold and intense, with good depth. The tannins are tight, silky and firm. It undergoes a classic aging phase with 24 months in botte grande. The finish is soft, silky and glossy. Some 37,000 bottles were made.

Complex aromas and flavors of cherry, plum, camphor, eucalyptus and tar mark this supple red. There is ample structure in the form of acidity and tannins, and this finishes long and spicy, with underbrush accents.
