This light Pinot's dry, sour-cherry fruit is offset by modest herb, earth and prune accents. It's even, with a powdery, chalky feel, moderate acidity and slighly prickly back-end tannins. Not deep or complex, nor is it green or sharp, just a bit simple, with a mineral-metallic note at the close.——W.E.(11/15/2001)—— 84
