Classic all the way, Usseglio’s 2014 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc (30% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette, 20% Roussanne and the rest Bourboulenc) exhibits lots of apple blossom, subtle citrus and honeysuckle in a medium-bodied, pure, elegant, yet nicely texture profile. Brought up mostly in stainless steel tank, with just 20% in barrel, drink it anytime over the coming 3-4 years, and it will hold for even longer if you’re so inclined.
