The richest in the lineup of 2011s, the 2011 Crozes Hermitage Les Hirondelles is a beautiful, medium-bodied, balanced Syrah that possesses classic pepper, smoked herbs, and blackberry and black raspberry-styled aromatics. Possessing good acidity and a balanced, clean profile, enjoy it over the coming 5-6 years. This was a good, yet certainly not inspiring, lineup from this domaine.
