Along the same lines, the 2012 Crozes Hermitage Les Hirondelles is a medium-bodied, competent effort that offers notions of old leather, herbs and underbrush to go with a medium-bodied, moderately tannic profile on the palate. It too will need drinking in its first 4-6 years of life. This was a good, yet certainly not inspiring, lineup from this domaine.
