The 2015 Chardonnay Estate is quite tightly coiled and acid driven, offering up aromas of toasted nuts, bread dough, poached pear, lemon and iodine. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, saline and rather austere in style, though it does appear to be rounding out with some time in bottle. Consumers who like a bit more give will gravitate toward the 2016.
