An excellent crowd-pleaser, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Père de Famille offers seductive aromas of plum preserves, juicy blackberry and lush oak. Full-bodied, round-textured and with a juicy mouthfeel, the wine is marked with oak essence and firm tannins before showing a gorgeous mid-palate and balanced structure. The wine continues to evolve with persistence, possessing harmony and unity over the long-lingering finish. Bravo!

This Pere de Famille is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the rest split between Merlot and Petit Verdot. Sweet, pure fruit—black currants and black cherry and blackberry—is packed tight, concentrated and polished, but needing hours to breathe open.
