The 2008 Barbaresco Il Bricco is impressive. It boasts a serious core of fruit backed up by equally imposing yet well-balanced tannins. Despite its voluptuous, expressive fruit, the Bricco is a wine that truly captures the cool, insistent minerality that is the hallmark of the vintage.
