The 2017 Kallstadter Saumagen Riesling Kabinett trocken shows a clear, deep and slightly chalky bouquet with ripe and intense fruit aromas. Tight, pure, fresh and mineral on the palate, this is a full-bodied, complex and sustainable Kabinett with firm tannins and 13% alcohol. Expressive and elegant on the tight and compact finish that indicates remarkable aging potential. Tasted from AP 1018 in July 2020.

This shows a pleasant silky texture, with savory and herbal elements and wet stone and thyme notes. Picks up quince and dandelion tea accents midpalate, along with minerally crunch.
