The dark ruby-colored 1995 Rioja Reserva (100% Tempranillo aged 18 months in both American and French oak) displays complex aromatics of scorched earth, mushrooms, and herbs, in addition to medium body, more elegance than power, excellent purity, and a harmonious, nicely-textured mid-palate and finish.
