The 2002 TINTO is maturing and seems older than the 2001, but it is surprisingly powerful, with a kick on the finish. Its fruit is opening nicely, though, and projecting fine flavors. It has a velvety mouthfeel. It is a super wine for the vintage, if a little farther along. That seems to be its only concession to a difficult year. Drink now -2014. Importer: W.J.
