I wish I knew more about this estate as their 1990 Gigondas performed admirably in a blind tasting with its peers. The color is an opaque dark ruby/purple, and the nose offers up sweet vanillin aromas as well as copious quantities of black-raspberries. In the mouth, this opulent, full-bodied wine exhibits superb concentration, a big, muscular, chewy texture, and a long, concentrated, alcoholic finish. The low acidity suggests it will be drinkable young, however, it is so well constituted it should last for at least 10-12 years. Sadly, I know of no American importer.
