A blend of 60% Grenache Blanc, 30% Clairette and 10% Bourboulenc, made with a small portion of barrel fermentation and aging, the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Begude des Papes offers up sedate aromas of lime, melon and tangerine. It's full-bodied and expansive but not that rich, despite having plenty of power. Round and pleasantly mouthfilling, it's a satisfying white to enjoy over the next couple of years.
