The elegant 2009 Gigondas Terrasses des Dentelles is a blend of 72% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 3% Mourvedre aged in both tank and small barrels. The wine reveals Burgundy-like notes of forest floor, red and black currants, underbrush, flowers and tobacco leaf. It is a medium-bodied, lush, super-pretty Gigondas with lots of elegance as well as freshness. It should drink well for 5-7 years.
