The 2010 Sinarra is striking. Blackberries, blueberries, spices, licorice and mint are some of the many notes that jump from the glass in this racy, sleek wine. It boasts gorgeous aromatic delineation, an exquisite finish and fabulous all around balance. Sinarra is 100% Sangiovese aged in conical cement vats. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020. Fattoria di Magliano has long been one of my favorite estates in the southern part of Maremma, but I don’t think I have ever tasted such a complete and consistent set of wines here.
