The unusual blend of Syrah, Tempranillo and Cari?ena called 2013 Faunus was fermented in small stainless steel vats and matured in French oak for eight months. I found some notes of raw meat, tempera paint, ink and leather that coat the ripe black cherries and give it an overall animal character. The palate is medium-bodied with dusty tannins and a dry finish. 7,327 bottles were produced.
